Yes, Arbor is approved by CMS to conduct HCAHPS as well as OAS CAHPS surveys for Hospital Outpatient Departments. Additionally, we can survey swing bed patients (though these are not counted or accepted by CMS), EDPEC and other outpatients. There’s something for patients at all levels of the care spectrum!
Yes, we are happy to work with clients of all shapes and sizes. As a smaller company ourselves, we admire hospitals that may be exempt from HCAHPS but choose to do so to improve patient experience. We also have solutions for facilities with low response rates on top of their already low volume. Ask us about it today!
We will never charge extra if it takes more than one attempt to reach a patient. In fact, CMS allows us to call each patient up to 5 times! However, there are certain instances where completed surveys above the agreed-upon yearly target may occur, resulting in a small fee. We do our best to curb this by working closely with clients to understand their needs and volume before a new project is started. You will never be charged for anything outside of what is written in your contract.
We take patient privacy very seriously at Arbor. Understanding that patients may be in a very delicate state following treatment, we’ve taken extra care to implement safeguards within our systems to prevent any possibility of their privacy being compromised. The data submission process alone includes secure file transfer protocols, our own protected data portal, and encrypted email.
